killer tomatoWe know we’ve been MIA recently, but we’re back. We’ve updated our website and are working hard on an issue to release by May Day (May 1st), but we need your help.

We need a great cover for the May issue. Submit your design and you could have it on the cover of the next issue of Puro Pedo Magazine. Please submit by Saturday April 29, 2007.

The next issue is going to be an homage to the old school Chicano alternative magazines like Pocho and Chispas. Think old B-movie posters and grindhouse style. The slogan for the issue is “Pinko de Mayo!” Perhaps revolutionaries marching in the street and people running scared a la Attack of the Killer Tomatoes?.

Paparazzi also caught El Vez, the self proclaimed “Mexican Elvis,” reading Puro Pedo.
